Scandalous Lord, Rebellious Miss

A Bit of Inspiration

I had a great time writing Sophia Westby and researching her love of design.  Click here for a glimpse of a historical house that inspired me!

An Improper Aristocrat

Deleted Scene:

I had to cut a lot of words from An Improper Aristocrat in order to sell it to Harlequin Mills and Boon, and as any writer will tell you, it's a painful experience! What's funny is that I had not originally included this scene, but my agent suggested it, and she was so spot on! I loved it when it was done and was sorry to lose it, as it definitely represents a sort of closure for Chione, in finally facing down an old enemy. This is definitely spoiler material, though! You may wish to wait to read it until you've finished the book! Click to here read the scene.

Article:

I wrote this short article about my Historical Man Crush, Giovanni Batista Belzoni, for the Romance Reader.  An amazing man!  I couldn't help but make him a minor character in AIA!  Check it out here.

Her Cinderella Season

Article:

The Evangelicals were very active in the Regency, working for change in both politcs and society.  Lily Beecham, the heroine in Her Cinderella Season, has to find a way to merge the Society she was born into and the Evangelical world she's been immersed in.  I wrote this short article about the Evangelicals for The Regency Reader.  Click here to find out more about them!
