Special Recommendations and Fun Stuff!

Perfect for the Superbowl!  Actually, I made this dip for the first time for a Halloween party.  I got one taste before it was snatched up by the guests and I didn't get the bowl back until it was nearly licked clean!  And it's easy!  There are a lot of versions of this recipe floating around the internet, try this one or combine it with another.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

3 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

2 8oz packages of cream cheese

1 cup ranch dressing

3/4 cup hot wing sauce

1 small onion, chopped

1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese

Tortilla chips or scoops

celery

Mix the first 6 ingredients, transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Serve with celery sticks and tortilla chips.

Save the Children is one of my favorite charities. Most of us know the work they do in helping children in poverty-stricken areas of the world. Their commercials, showing the extremely distressing conditions these children live in, are familiar to most of us. But did you know that they also help children right here in the U. S.? They sponsor literacy programs, disaster relief, early childhood development and physical activity and nutrition programs. One of the things I like best about this organization is the ability to choose where you would like your donation to go--it gives donors the chance to support the programs that touch them the most.

I believe that every child deserves the chance to grow into a happy, healthy, productive citizen of the world. If you agree, I hope you will consider donating to this very worthy organization. www.savethechildren.com.
